If you’re Canadian and you’ve sent money to someone else in Canada before, you’ve likely used Interac e-Transfer. But did you know that you can use Interac e-Transfer to send money to the US too? That’s right, and it couldn’t be easier!
Here’s how to get started:
1. Log in to your Interchange Financial account Here.
2. Select “Send Money” and enter the amount in either USD or CAD.
3. Enter the recipient’s destination and banking information or choose an existing recipient.
4. Choose Interac e-Transfer as your payment method (currently available for amounts up to 2,500 CAD) and click Confirm.
5. Check your email for payment instructions and transaction details.
6. The funds will be deposited directly into the recipient’s bank account the same or next business day.
